So I have had a lot of interviews lately and it's important to feel refreshed and to stay natural. That's why I use my favorite herbal shampoo and moisturizer. My boyfriend laughs at me because I only use it on special occasions; that's because it's special. It makes me feel better about myself. It's no different than dressing up in a suit. I love my herbal products... hmmmm the goodness.

People always talk about how important fashion is during rough weather seasons, such as rain or snow. But does anyone ever talk about cosmetics during these times? When it rains, it is crucial that you wear WATER PROOF mascara, and even try to find other products that may be resistant. I made the mistake of avoiding this tip during a school presentation, and it made me look like a clown by the time I got there. So, tip #12450: WEAR WATERPROOF MAKEUP. You never know when rain is going to hit!

Daniel commented on my makeup today. He owns a small firm outside of the company we work at, and I couldn't be more impressed. I guess thats what happens when you don't blow all of your $$ on cosmetics. ha. He said I had beautiful skin and asked what I used. I certainly was flattered, since I feel like my face looks like a pizza lately.

Makeup Woes

I met a boy today when I was working at the grocery store. He was really cute and commented on my lipgloss. That made me feel much better about spending $25.00 on it. Splurge, I know. As for a potential date, I think it is in the process. We exchanged phone numbers, and my lips never looked happier! Thank you $25.00 lipgloss, you are now helping me w/ dates.

Shiny Lipstick

Is it just me or are you sick of shiny lipstick? It looks like your mouth is on fire with spit. Really, it isn't that attractive girls. Why gloss it up? I'd rather make it look beautiful with a matte finish, rather than all the clear gloss or sparkly or purple or pink. Keep it simple! Women look better with natural lips...and gloss does not look natural. Sure, add some color, but don't look as if you are ready to foam at the mouth. Thanks.

I am really getting frustrated with the lack of makeup stores at my mall. Forget makeup counters, those ladies are annoying!

I am looking for an online makeup store that is full of different products. I'm sick of one line -- mac or maybelline. Is there a newer company out there?
